I decided to be a good sport and keep participating in these Planet Mu remix competitions. They are quite fun.
This time, I was battling a mycoplasma infection and only found out about the competition late, so I had to rush to put something together. Surprisingly, it turned out better than I expected.
This time, the task was to remix a track by Meemo Comma.
To my surprise, I ended up as one of the winners and received a tape copy of Meemo Comma’s album Decimation of I. Yay!
Too bad my cassette deck is broken ;(
I've entered quite a few remix contests in the distant past, but since I never seem to win, I decided to stop wasting my time on them.
Then I stumbled upon this Planet Mu remix competition for a new track by µ-Ziq.
Being somewhat of a fan, I figured I’d give it a shot - not necessarily to win, but just for fun and practice.
The remix turned out quite funny!
While it didn’t win, it did earn a special mention :D

Finally I've finished the remix I've started year ago. Psilodump aka Simon Rahm been one of the artist, who inspired me since forever and always surprised me with a lot of fantasy in his productions. Long time ago I was discovering chiptune/8bit music and felt it's a field which could be great to come back to, I still had this track and so I requested him herself to realise vision connected to what I am into at the moment and wanted to create sort of ready to mix techno dance floor banger... Something towards oldschool computer games and mortal combat theme :)

So I managed to get a track from my forthcoming album remixed by absolutely legendary all-time heroes of mine, Hardfloor. I'm pretty sure their influence runs deep through my entire discography, so it's extra fun to get this opportunity. I sent over all the album tracks, and they chose to remix ‘Whut’. This is what came out of it.
